This I would assume is because some countries don't require a passport to enter and the US would allow a citizen to return with for example a drivers liscense and a social security card. However you are not as of now a citizen yet you have a social security card.

ead card correction
does anyone know the procedure to correct my date of birth on the EAD card? I got it but they made a mistake on the card...

There was an error on my ead, dob, and it needs to be sent back for correction, do you think I can get an interim while the other one is being sent for correction?

some EAD approvals for JUNE
hmmmm.. i know... it's been awhile ...but the good news is that my NEW computer is faster&better than the old one.... all i have to do is reload the EAD list... until then some recent approvals for EAd with NOAs from FEB 05

I wish it was being processed in Phoenix. I probably would have
received it months ago if that was the case. Unfortunately, my entire application got dumped into NBC black hole along with everyone else's. No problem getting an interim EAD from Phoenix office, though the service is achingly slow. |

I can't tell if this thread is for K3 or K1 EAD's (or both or either for that matter).
Here is our K3-EAD timeline. We did not have to go for the interim, thank God. EAD: 03/02/04 - NOA #1 05/26/04 - Approved 06/02/04 - Received EAD card in mail 02/10/06 - Card Expires |
