Does someone know how long the k3 visa takes
Hi, I got married on Oktober 4th to an American. I Imidetly filed for the K 3
visa.
The INS told me it would take up to 3 month, well know we are in the 4th.
Does someone know about all this.
Do you know when you have to go to the consulate, to pick up your visa, do you
have an interview over there, and how is this with the medical stuff. Can I go
to any Doctor or do they tell me where to go.

The approval of the I-129F at MSC for the K3 visa is currently taking from 90-180 days. Average time seems to be 4-5 months. So check the receipt date on the letter they sent your husband, that is what we on the forum refer to as your 1st NOA. The consulate has assigned doctors, they will give you a list of the acceptable ones. Also, you will most likely have an interview. There are very few that do not require one, depends on which consulate you are going to. Good luck.
