Y'see... right here is where you made your mistake. The people who answer the phone are not USCIS employees and know little, if anything, of immigration rules and procedures. Do yourself a favor... never call again.

I don't see anywhere on any of the forms i'm submitting that the co-sponsor has to submit a G-325-A!!!

I still don't see how you come up with three for me. The I-485 requires me to complete one G-325-A. The I-130 requires one G-325-A for me and another for my spouse.

It doesn't say anything about G-325-A on the I-864 affidavit of support form.

Sorry to still be going on about this but I just wanted to clarify.
You and your wife each complete one with the I-130. You complete another one with the I-485. No one completes one for the I-864 Affidavit of Support. Do NOT trust what the 800 number tells you. You found the discount immigration services, why don't you double check with them, too?

Also, just so you know, the instructions on all the forms (I-130, I-485, I-864) are very specific as to what support documents they need. Just follow those instructions, you shouldn't have a problem.

Yes you do have to submit three for yourself and one for your wife. I have Pm'd you with the name of a book that will guide you step by step completing all the necessary forms..line by line. I have AOS successfully this year in a time line of July 05 to Mar 06.

Hi Kate,

Just curious what his 3rd one is for...I could only come up with 3 total between them both.

It took me a while to find the reference in my guide book. The exact wording is
"This form is single sided. When filled out by you the immigrant it should be submitted with four exact copies. Traditionally, the first page should be on white paper, and the next ones on pastel green, pastel pink and pastel blue respectively. (when filled out by your US spouse, it can be submitted as only a single copy on white paper)"

So actually 4 copies. The guide doesnt explain why? Nevertheless this is exactly what we did for AOS from VWP.

Well, the original form is 4 identical pages (an original and 3 carbons). But he needs three (3) SETS of this 4-page form. Two sets with his info for the I-130 and I-485, and one set of his wife's info for the I-130. Now whether they want that set to be 1 page or all 4 pages, I don't know. But they need 3 separate sets of the G-325A.

It is certainly confusing lol.

Send 12 copies and let the USCIS sort it out j/k.
