Cosponsor/Affidavit question..
Hi,
My Mother and Father have agreed to sponsor me and my husband. They
both signed and notarized the I-864A form. Me and my husband will be
living with them when we get in the US.
On the forms it says that each cosponsor must INDIVIDUALY meet the
125% poverty guidline. My parents don't meet that individualy, only
their income combined meets it. Is this a problem? They both live in
the same household, and me and my husband will be living with them as
well. So does it mean individual person, or individual household?
Thanks for any help!

Re: Cosponsor/Affidavit question..
I take it your father is the principal breadwinner in the family and he completed the I-864 and your mother the I-864A. This might be incorrect and it might be the other way around as in our household I would do the I-864 and my husband the I-864A because I earn 4 times his salary annually. Either way, their combined salaries must be able to support themselves, your foreign husband and who ever else lives in the household. You should be fine with the one completed I-864 and I-864A.
