the restriciton to show that you go back where you came from only applies for the foreign fiancé(e). the usc is already usc, so he wont stay abroad with the possible intend to immigrate to the usa (as you would be in the uk).

my fiancée visited me here in germany in march/april with no problems at all.

p.s.: others might have had not problem visiting in the us, but there is always the chance of getting denied the entry ...

oh darn because www.skyauction.com has had some deals lately...air india is one of them and you don't have to stay a saturday or sunday and i saw the auction end at $352 plus $125 for tax and security but you had to go out of new york. and leave by august 31st....
