Default biometrics appointment

I just received my biometrics appointment. I sent in my I-485. I-130
and I-765 around April 3, they cashed the checks on 4/10 and on 4/19
I'm to go do my biometrics at 9am. My question is: how long does the
appointment last?

In my experience, in Phoenix, my husband's biometrics appointment for both his I-485 and I-765 (done at the same time) took about 1/2 hour. He did a second one for I-765 for the renewal, and that one took about 15 minutes.

Your mileage may vary.

Best Wishes,
Rene

The time depends mostly on where you go, I think.
In Orlando the first time we had to wait some time. On our second
appointment we were early, walked right in, and right out with no wait
at all.

Thanks to everyone who responded regarding the biometrics appointment.
I went to my biometrics appointment this morning and all went well. I
was there about 20 minutes.

She gave me my biometrics appointment letter back with a stamp on it
saying it was my receipt that it was done. So I guess it's just
waiting for that appointment letter or EAD then, eh?

Congrats! Have you now had biometrics done for both AOS and EAD? Or was this just for EAD?

AOS is all 10 digit prints. EAD is 1 digit print and a photo. What was it you had done today?

I had it done for both. They took all 10 digit prints and 1 digit and
then my photo. It went pretty fast and the girl who helped me was
really good. They had Regis & Kelly on TV in the background.

In that case, then yes...all you do now is wait for the EAD to show up in the mail, and then wait for your AOS interview letter to show up in the mail.
