Applying to Mother

I am a US naturalized citizen and have filed the I-130 to get a visa for my mother
to come to the US. Does anyone know how long the process will take.? I know the INS
has cashed the check I sent with the application, but I have not received a
response back.
Any info will be appreciated.

The Service Centers all have a bit of a backlog - many are reporting 6 week waits
(and longer) for 1st NOAs. This website should have the information on how long it
could take to process your petition
