Default AOS Interview today, quick question

Had my interview today. It was a success in the most part except that I did not get approved today because my finger prints expired on Monday. So when i got home today i called the misinformation line and managed to secure a finger print appointment for tomorrow afternoon.
My question is it safe to go tomorrow even though i do not have a new fingerprint notice. My interviewer told me that i will be receiving a new notice and that i should proceed from there. Should i wait or should I go.
thank you

I'm not sure, but maybe you should follow the interviewer's directions?

The problem in New York is that fingerprinting appointment can take about two months to get which on top of probably a month to six weeks to get the letter. I could be in to the new year before I'm done. After 28 months of this I just want it over

In that case, I guess you can go to the appointment you made, and see what happens.
