Hi all, This is my first post but hopefully someone can shed some light.
I recieved an interview date to adjust my wife's staus for Nov. 28
The same day we recieved the " Due to unforseen circumstances
we have cancelled your interview". First is there anyone recieving this type of cancellation and having a new interview date?
Second we filed I-485 March 05 we ahve been married almost 3 years
and my wife is here on K3 since Mar. 04. I know this is interview date has come up sooner than most (5 months).Any ideas?

I don't know what the reason is, but seems to be happening more often, that folks are getting interview notices and then cancellations. You'll receive another notice of interview. It might be a glitch in their computer system, making interview too early, perhaps there is a legitimate reason...i.e., the Officer will be out that day....you never know. But it's been happening to others, so don't worry.
