AOS I-864 Question
I have my AOS interview in Phoenix on 2/15, and I'm in the process of
compiling the requested tax documents and employment letters for the
I-864. My wife has worked sporadically between full and part time
employment over the last few years. This isn't much of a concern since
I'll be including my own income on the I-864 in addition to hers to
meet the minimum income requirement.
My question is about my wife's current employment status and how it
might affect the adjudication of my case. Next week, she will begin an
unpaid dental assisting internship. How badly might this complicate
things? Has anyone else submitted an I-864 while their sponsor was
either unemployed or attending school?
