Another i-134 question
I am going to be filling out the i-134, but because my income is not
sufficient, my mother has agreed to be our sponsor.
Here's the problem. Most of her income is not includable in gross, so
won't be on the tax forms. Next to those forms, she's making less
than $10,000. So, I'm wondering how we can work this. We can
probably get a letter from her employer stating how much she makes
each year. She can also produce copies of bank statements. Is there
anything else we can do? Any idea if this will cause a really big
problem for us?
Also, if I manage to nail down a job that puts me above the poverty
guidelines before the interview, will I be able to be her sponsor? Or
does the income have to be received over a long period? Thanks!
