My fiancee has her interview in February. Although we are both
culturally the same, I am older (more than 10 years)and divorced
twice. But I have no kids.

WHat exactly did the Mumbai consulate do in terms of your fiancee's
review ?

Our problem was that we are from a different race and I have two children. He is only 5 years older than me.

The main concern they have is about the cultural difference. Plus me having two children.

I think you guys won't have trouble since you are from the same race.

MY fiance is arriving in two more days. YIPPY!!! I am so excited. We have not seen each other for almost a year. Its a miracle for us.

Now my next worry is POE. Hope we get through this hurdle!!!

All I can say load your self with many documents from your relationship.

Oh the review thing, we never found out why we are reviewed. I hope they did something cause it took them 4 1/2 months to do. As far as we know it, there was no visits to his friends, family and co-workers. Unless they did alot of things behind the scences. We were never asked for additional documents. The congressman, senators and lawyers asked if they needed anything else and they told them repeatly "no" we need nothing and that they need to "investigate". To this day no one knows why we were under review for so long.

Police clearance and medical were fine. There was no reason to put us under review. I think they wanted to know how far our relationship can go under extreme turmoil.
