After months and weeks of waiting... I've finally got an interview date for my K3 visa..
September 16, at 8am,
funny thing is september 17th is our anniversary.. this will be the perfect gift .
Very nervous...
Wish I could forward the days to get this over with.

Yep, the interviews in London go pretty smoothly, so unless you've got something bad lurking in your past (i.e. overstays, criminal convictions) everything will be easy as pie. Good Luck and Happy Anniversary!!

Hi there,
London is known as one of the more friendly and "easy" embassies, so take a deep breath, make sure you have all your documentation in hand, and then stop worrying. All will be well.

I do want to point out though, that London has changed its procedures within the last year and visas, if approved, are no longer issued on the same day at the interview. The passport with the visa in it will arrive by courier the next day. So, being in the US the very next day might be a long shot.

Edit: I see you said the interview was on the 16th, so it's quite possible you might make it on the 18th! Just remember, visas are no longer issued on the same day as the interview.
