that should help, i think as long as he earns over 18k a year and lives on his own it should be fine....you don't need to include your savings.

The person who is completing the I-134 for the K-1 visa and later the I-864 for the adjust of status after marriage is working and earns enough they do not need bank accounts.
The monetary amounts are located on the www.uscis.gov website. Look under "forms" I-864 P

i have had to do all my own paper work, my wife was busy with her studies so it all became my job....very stressful! the wait is annoying but at least you can still visit each other! plus with call through services you can get very cheap calls to each other, we managed to get most of our calls for free.

Longest we would of gone without seeing each other alongside all of this just makes it stressful when all you want is to be together and live a normal life. He hates all of this too, he says its beyond a joke but understands it must be done which makes it all the more stessful!
Do you know how he sends of the support form? Do i take it to interview or is it sent before interview like medical results?
Thanks

Correct. He completes the I-134 and sends it to along with the evidence asked for.
For the I-864 Affidavit of Support is used after you marry and file for adjustment of status. The same requirements, however, the I-864 is enforceable by the Federal Government if you are given means tested benefits, while the I-134 is not.

In reading through the US Embassy site for London they have a page named Documents Required in Support of the Visa Application, and there's no mention of the I-134.
Have they changed their requirements, again?

No, they have not changed the requirements. What they have changed is the web site, and not for the better.
The page you are looking at is specifically for immigrant visas. The K-visas are non-immigrant visas that have immigrant intent. The requirments for meeting the public charge provisions of the law that apply to K visas are the non-immigrant visa requirements.
meauxna has included an appropriate link in many of her recent posts on the subject, and there's a sticky that also contains the link you want.

Affidavit of Support: Form I-864, a contractual affidavit of support, must be submitted for most family-based applicants and employment-based applicants when a relative is the petitioner or has ownership interest in the petitioner's business.
Employment based visa applicants must show a recent letter from their employer confirming that the job offer upon which their application is based is still available to them. Qualified nurses must also present their Visa Screen Certificate. All other applicants must show evidence that they are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Use of the form I-134 is an efficient way to provide this information to the Consular Officer.

In looking at the instructions for the I-134 I see it requires a statement from the bank and employment history. The tax information seems to only be needed if your self employed, but do they ask for tax information regardless of if your self employed or not?

PLEASE before asking any more financial support questions, read the pinned thread and the Evidence of Support link inside it.
