Default Advance Parole - question

Hi everyone.

I am filling in the Advance Parole form, and in Part 7 it says about explaining on a seperate sheet of paper how I qualify for an Advance Parole document - also, to provide any documents which support this.

Is it ok just to say on this seperate sheet that I am on a K1 visa so I need an AP? Also, do I need to provide any documents?

Thanks for any help.

Matt

Being here on a K-1 doesn't qualify you. However, if you are submitting an I-485 application to adjust your status, then you qualify by virtue of that I-485 application. You don't need any other docs (the I-485 takes care of that) but they must be filed at the same time. If the I-485 has already been submitted, you must supply proof of that submission.
