No, your fiancee has been in administrative processing for 7 months.
No, your wife applied for her K1 fiancee visa. You petitioned for her so that she could apply.
No again, everything is not computerized these days.

Hi, i had my interview for k1 visa at London embassy a few months ago and i have been under AP since then, a few days ago i called DOS and the lady told me that i should send my passport to the embassy, and she said that the consular section sent me an email requesting my passport 2 weeks ago, although i checked my email and i haven't received nothing from them) i asked her if AP's cleared she said no, it's still pending but they need my passport!! what is that ??? when London requests passport does it mean they are gonna issue the visa or is there any other reason that they might ask for my passport for?
and i asked her if my case is at the embassy or washington DC and she said embassy. so does every case goes to Washington DC name checks or do they only send it there in case there was a name hit??
Anyway i've sent my passport thourgh royal mail and now i found out that i should've sent it through DX

what shall i do ? how i'm gonna receive my passport when the visa is issued?? do i have to call DX or the embassy??
if they are gonna issue me the visa then is it gonna be in a few weeks or it might take months again?
usually when London ask for passport do they issue visa right away or what ???
have anyone been through the same situation in the uk? please helppp i'm so anxious
PS ( i didn't send documentation with the passport, i just put it in an envelope and wrote my name, address and case number on it) is this gonna be ok?

I have my interview in london next tuesday, and I'm trying not to get alarmed but if they tell you your visa is approved does this not mean it 100% is, or do they tell you at the interview if its going into AP or other further checks??? When do you find out if its gone into AP, and does this happen even if you've been told its approved?!!

To be honest you can't be 100% sure that your case is not going to go through AP even if you have been told Approved on the interview day, you can't be completely sure until you receive your visa in hand, (that's what the CO told me)
i know a couple of people who have been told approved on the interview date and then they didn't received their visas after a few weeks and when they called to find out the reasons for delay they were told that their case's in AP, i'm not telling you this to stress you out but to prepare you.
On the other hand if all your papers and everything you submit is fine and you have clean record and enough proof of relationship.... and since you are a woman then i don't think you have a high chance of being going through AP... However, every case is different.
Good luck!

Ah right, Thank you, I thought that might be the case. I'm pretty certain all my paperwork is in order, my USc fiance is here so will be attending too which I'm hopeful will be helpful in some way, as it supports his evidence of his job and that he will be playing a show in London the next day, plus of course he has all the I-134 documents and financials. I'm worried mainly because my eldest child turns 18 in November which doesnt leave time for us to get married if it goes into AP, we would have to pull out of the visa and get married in England and re-apply down the spouse route, which would be terrible but I'm not leaving my son here, thats why I'm so nervous about it really otherwise I would be fine to accept AP if that were deemed my fate!
