Default ADDRESS and AOS

Hello everyone, here is my story - I am on an F1 visa finishing my
graduate school work 0 I have one year left and a year of OPT. However,
my boyfriend and I have putting a wedding off for one reason or another
and now we have decided to finally get married. Since he is a citizen
and I am not, we want to file for an AOS for me. I have read a lot
about it and I know how the process works in general, but I have some
questions. First of all, he is from Washington and I have lived in
California. We met in the school that we both attend in California. We
are in teh last year of study and we still do not know if we will go
and live in WA or stay here in California. He does hsi research part
here part in WA and travels both ways a lot and spends some time there
and some here. That's why Im renting a room here in CA and he also has
a room that he can stay in with his friends that is closer to school.
But what address should we file from? California or WA, if we are to
move there next year? Also, he will be giving up his apartment and
going to WA for the summer andhe wll be staying where I live now after
that, so I thought of filing with this address. One sensitive isse is
that one of the couple that I rent with is also going thu a similar
process of AOS - the got married 2 years ago - would it be an issue
ifwe file form thesam address?

I would say file from whichever address is most likely to be permanent for the next couple of years. From what I've heard, USCIS find it difficult to keep up with address changes, and mail has been known to get lost...
