Default "Wedding Invitation" form (HUH???) sent with I 134 etc.

hello,
im wondering if anybody can help me. my Fiancee recently recieved her I 134
form and some others such as the 230. she was also given a document stating
that i need to provide the Warsaw Embassy with a so-called "Wedding Invitation"
so that they know im sponsoring her and that we will marry. i have never heard
of this . it is supposed to be a document i am to provide stating this which
must be notarized. im wondering if it is our Marriage certificate that they
really want.

can anybody help at all?? even my visa lawyer has no clue. i would appreciate
any info you can provide. THANK YOU!!

ps. if anyone is curious about the approval times at TSC we got ours approved
in 20 days. i think a lawyer helps alot!!

Did this document have a number? I just read through packet 3 at the Warsaw
Consulate site and couldn't find anything about this. You can also give
Warsaw a call and find out what it is. Your fiancee may just not understand
what is needed. So here is the Warsaw site that has the packets they send:

ets/

I am sure they realize with the uncertainty of all this, it is very hard to
make wedding plans until the approval goes through.

Perhaps she is not translating it properly. All other USCs have had to supply the US Consulate with a letter of intent stating they are free to marry and still intent to marry their fiancee within 90 days of their arrival in the US.

I think that they are asking for a letter from you( or both of you) stating
that you are legaly free and able(or willing) to marry....and that you will
marry her( within 90 days from her arrival ) and support her

The intent to marry letter is just a letter that states that you both intend to marry each other from what I understand but, I was advised it did not need to be notarized. So, I'm a little confused. Can anyone confirm whether this has to be notarized? There are no notaries in Argentina so we have a big problem...
