That'll do it. Cooped up in a car? Can you run the AC?

Today was a day off few beers n good food

But

I've been ok for the last few days working getting jobs in good positions, parking lots so windows open and fan on. But feels like the heat just went up a notch or two yesterday and today. It's nice but only because I have AC at home Lol

It's a comfortable 13 here but we're flooded out. About 40 communities have been listed in state of emergency and 1 had to be evacuated, highways washed out, catch basins sewers and creeks overflowing. Complaining is minimal though because everyone is still stoked over the Riders thrashing Hamilton 31-10 yesterday in the pouring rain. We had a summer's worth of rain in 3 days but it should end in a day or 2. Still raining and thunder for now though.

Oh. Will it be alright by Sunday as HID and her mum are heading that way to stay for a couple of weeks? I don't really care I just want to be prepared.

The weather should be ok but there could be a big mosquito problem as a result. When it's too wet for the spray crews to get their quads into the marshy areas there isn't much they can do about it.

That's not my naffing problem but thanks for the heads up. They have some sort of "cottage" near one of the million little lakes they've got out there. Why you'd want to spend the airfare and care hire to leave Vancouver to go somewhere like that is beyond me. Luckily for me, I have to work.

Message me which lake/resort it is and I'll try to find out if it's still accessible - Regina Beach where Lorna D is declared state of emergency about 3 hrs ago and my friend where I have my place across the lake from her told me this morning that the road out may not be passable for days.
