Makes sense but what if the ref or linesman doesn't see the infringement? I think a lot more changes need to be made to prevent the sport appearing more and more like an Australian soap opera.
Considering big stage matches such as the World Cup, Champions league, EPL etc.., TV screens often show replays live inside the stadiums. Goal line technology is already proven (FIFA and the FA, however, continue with their infantile approach by ignoring the technology). Technology Link It's just farcical when a bad decision is made by a referee then it's disproved live inside the ground on big TV screens. IMO the red card rule has always been broken too. In one match a player might get red carded at 90 minutes, in another a player might get red carded in the first minute; it's a disproportionate amount of discipline considering the first team is down to 10 players for only a couple of minutes.
