Steven Taylor, Andy Carroll, Nile Ranger, to go with the traitors Jenas and Milner and the best English goalkeeper around, Steven Harper (although he's not so young).

Of course I'm unbiased.

Surprised you didn't mention Adam Johnson there.

Oh, hang on...

Don't be so cheeky... even he wouldn't get into our team...

Just watched the Capello Press Conference and the FA are to give a decision in 2 weeks but Capello wants to stay on. He claims it was the physical tiredness of the players that did them in and he wants the Premier League to have a winter break. Here's an idea...get rid of the League Cup, no FA Cup replays and reduce the # of teams in the Premier League to 18.

Hopefully we have seen the last of Terry, Heskey, Carrick, James

I agree with your cup suggestions.

Reducing the Premier League to 18 teams will not happen because the clubs have too much power and you would never raise enough votes. I think the EPL for a change to happen 14 teams have to agree.

I think every bottom half club would be against such a move.

I think the FA should back Cappello becuase it send's a clear message to the players that he is in charge.

It is worrying because a large portion of the squad are circa 30 and we do seem light on quality youngsters.

I drank for 12 hours straight yesterday. Expecting me to work my day job is simply rediculous??? I wish I had never survived the earthquake and seen that game.

I wish I had drunk for 12 hours straight and missed the game.... :(

It will now become the new, and where were you when... I agree that our team lacks youngsters.

My nana has just texted me to say that she thinks we need a comprehensive review of our national youth system if we want to do better in international competitions and that while she thinks Stuart Pearce is a lovely young man, she doesn't think flair, enterprise and pace will be emphasized with the likes of him in charge of our U21 team.

Taylor - token Geordie when the team was full of foreigners - not really good enough for EPL.
Carroll - young and has potential worth a look
Ranger - ?
Jenas - was the future once - a long time ago - did Robson sign him?
Milner - always thought he was okay but being substituted 20 mins into a game isn't a good sign
Harper - always thought he was okay but had the unfortunate knack of doing something wrong when he got the chance when Given was out. Maybe if he does well next season he could come into the reckoning - after all he's like to be fairly busy.
