Good grief - it's as much as I can do to muster a smile at 6am for the mad punters at the gym - let alone talk inannely about the bloody England team that I am obviously supporting!

Re: World Cup

The USA should be in control of the group if the REF bothered to show up today. 2nd Slovenian goal looked offiside and a phantom call on what would have been the US go ahead goal. (I want the US to send as many Euro teams home as possible).

So am I correct in assuming that if the US take 1 point against Algeria then England must beat Slovenia to advance? I am assuming that US holds the tie breaker as of now with more goals for?

I quite like supporting NZ. It's the underdog factor.

Why have you got such a chip on your shoulder about Europe? It's weird. It's like you're Sarah Palin or something.

Your weird, I said one thing about the US beating Euro teams with respect to soccer. It's like your Jack Layton or something.

Luckily I had an unavoidable business meeting this afternoon, so I couldn't watch the England match. The "highlights" are more than enough, thank you.

Novocastrian Netherlands 2 Japan 1
Novocastrian Ghana 2 Australia 0

Me too. He's a great left winger. But could you two bicker on another thread please?
