It is the thought of driving in the snow that is scaring me to death!! I am afraid I am one of those people who does automatically break. I have already told my OH I want a driving lesson in the snow! I think I will just get some good boots and walk everywhere!!

My personal 'snow related' youtube favourite is this fable of how not to pull a stuck car out of a snowdrift!

Oh lord, I'm with Lisa on this, not keen on driving when it's been snowing and very icy. We live in Cornwall in UK, we see snow once in a blue moon! Hubby has just shouted out about snow chains!!!

They're illegal in Ontario, though not in some other provinces.

That is how I like to think of myself but Northern Ontario is just too far north for me, thanks.

Some people just don't know when they're beat! As for that car that appeared to get stuck in reverse, was he pi**ed or wot? An expensive day for some!

I used to think that way but unfortunately a surgeon took care of that.

I came from Cornwall too - just think of it as driving on the mud left by the farmers tractors. seriously though it can be nerve wracking - not least because there are lunatics here who think that having a 5.7 litre Hemi pick up with four wheel drive and snow tyres makes them invincible. On one day here this year there were almost 600 fender benders in one day....!!!!!

Drive to your limitations, get snow tyres and recognise that four wheel drive vehicles can still slide off the road........
