Winter
#16
Hi, I'm new on the site and have been trawling through threads.
Lots of Autumn pics. Fall, if you insist..
Does anybody have any winter pics? So far, I've only been to Canada once, in August. It rained. My wife tells me I should be there in winter before we decide to emigrate.
So, pics are the next best thing for now....Anyone got any?

Have a look at these,it was our 1st winter here in 2006 and it is very cold but don't let this put you off because in summer you will be saying it's tooo hot especially if this summer has been anything to go by.

Nova Scotia in January 2005 - probably the last proper "snow day" (where everywhere is closed for the day as no one can get to work) that we had here:

Snow even in Lower Mainland BC. Most of the time it stays where it belongs, on the mountains.

Have got lots of pics. but my favourites are of the lake at the end of our street. It gets completely frozen over so we can walk, skate and pull the kids on toboggans.
