Ah! Perfectly clear, but of course, still nonsensical.
Hmmmmm..lot of response..Someone asked me same question and wanted your views... I guess the country we are moving or will move, may be favourite then the current. The ambience attracts and so the change...the way you see half glass full or half empty. |

Thats pretty much exactly how I understood it too.
"Dear <insert your name here>...Why (do) people immigrate from one developed country to another developed country.....Don't you thin(k) (that) if (the) latter is (a) better country to live..(then) we need to have a new name instead of developed country (to differentiate between them)??? Its easier than figuring out text speech to be honest. Funny I have no problem with, but picking on someone simply because English is not their first language is a lot closer to plain old bigotry than funny in my opinion. Now the OP has come back and explained that the same question has been asked of him/her; a little further research seems to suggest he/she is moving from Australia to Canada, i.e. from one so-called 'developed' country to another. So the question really is how do you differentiate between them? Most of us would say that 'developed' is a misnomer... every country in the world is still developing one way or another. As to how you distinguish between Australia and Canada, well for starters the former is hotter, the latter colder. |
