....and that's probably only because you've never been caught! It's in the genes. You're a nation of lazy, good for nothing, semi literate, sport obsessed "sling it on the barbie" crooks - but as I said in my first post, we Canadians will not stoop to your level and will not be drawn into an exchange of childish tit-for-tat name calling - goodbye!

Er, yeah, I thought it was an attempt to bait Canadians, not Brits in Canada. There's a few of us Canadians who have a thread going in the Aussie forum, talking about coffee, RRSPs, and the weather. So, no doubt we're an exciting bunch.

Didn't I mention the price of peaches in that thread? $13.99 at our local Coles last weekend as opposed to $1.59 at Ultra Mart near my sister. Although they are down to $7.99 this week. And don't get me started on the price of raspberries! I've had to sell a kidney to afford a punnet.
Even with the exchange the Canadians can afford to eat lettuce. I'll ask my sister and let you know.

I still honestly fail to understand why anybody would want to move to Australia, but it's different things for different people I suppose.

Personally though I think if I really fancied moving to an abandoned prison island then I would probably opt for Alcatraz. At least then the San Francisco night life is within close reach.
