How do you get there?

Driving thru Winnipeg - Vancouver and back again over Aug 16 to 20 so if it's at the right time might stop off some Ice cream.

The last weekend of the month is the long weekend, isn't it? Are a lot of you already busy with plans?

Otherwise, 23rd/24th might be a possibility?

(Been there, done that - but would potentially be stupid, oops, I mean, mad enough to do the same again. Cochrane is often good for some, and totally too far for others though !! )

Hi all glad to see the idea hasn`t died a death!

Not had a chance to read through the suggestions properly as yet, my daughter is here and having a great time and I will be back in Canada a week on Thursday so can get the plans well under way!

Should be a good'n whatever and wherever we go! :thumbsup:

I'm totally new to this forum but 'flossie' suggested to keep an eye on the maple leaf forum in case a get together is arranged.

Been in calgary with my husband (originally from bristol in england) since May 08. Beginning to climatize with the calgarian ways - a stint at stampede helped- not sure whether i'll wear all the tassels and stetson's regularly!

Anyone seeing Oasis at the saddledome on saturday 30th august?

Us Bristol folk would like to join you all for a wee cider if anything is arranged. :)

Righto - whos up for the weekend of 30th August this weekend is too short notice for me so if we start setting some specific dates we should be good!

I can't do the 6th as am off to Spruce Meadows but am free the following weekend too :thumbsup:
