It's a photoshoot op, not an actual ceremony.
Sigh. I suppose if you want to experience having wedding photos taken but haven't or don't intend to get married, why not?
Live and let live.

Pretty much my thoughts when I saw it. Makes more sense (to me) than things like big brother. Although I can think of better things to spend the money on.
I just thought a provocative thread title would get more attention.

I've never understood this 'need' thing though - nobody 'needs' someone else, though they may make life more pleasant it's not an essential to live.
I must be a bit weird!

Ive never been married and although id like someone in my life i dont "need" someone and im sure as hell not going to settle for someone becauase its the done thing.
So no....i have never got the "need" thing either. There does seem to be a lot of songs written about it though!

I only go to weddings to get pissed on someone else's dime.
Other wise I may as well just stay at Hooters.

Mind you, I probably felt a bit differently when I was young... getting older brings realisation perhaps?

.And I didn't feel differently when I was (much) younger either.
I like men generally, I've never felt a need to have one around generally/permanently.

Although I might have stated it less colloquially, I unreservedly agree. I might add that decent canapés are also a draw. I went to a particularly memorable wedding in the UK that had large wheel of exceptionally decent Stilton.
