And he was an inveterate (and unapologetic) plagiarist, which really didn't help his cause.

Agreed on Tony the Pilot, though: knob jockey of Grand Cru quality.

I miss UR, I just seem to have plain missed the others mentioned on here, I am off to hunt them down.

No, he was scary. Very manipulative and creepy.

Of course some posters have more than one user name at the same time. I guess it's harder to track now with VPNs etc.. That's extra sneaky trolling.

Does anybody know how I can find last year's Troll Poll thing? I believe UR won it but I never actually saw it.

Err, scroll down to Jan 1st 2014 or so. Although Mandy had a long hangover recovery that morning....

To understand the absence of a winner in "Poster I'd most like to Punch in the Throat" category you'd have to start from the beginning.

I got really ticked off with that woman who always went on about bloody Gravy Granuals, she kept getting mad when anyone offered any sensible advice, she had a ring she kept going on about, and moved to somewhere smelly...she wasn't a troll though...just irritating.

I'm going to be up all night thinking about this Rivington family....I remember them, she was everywhere like a rash for a bit?

I liked Ultra Runner, he was like a naughty big hurt kid...yes he could be rude and horrid, and a bit strange on occasion. I do hope he's happy....

Err, just possibly, but he flounced before the verdict could be pronounced.

A heroic figure he was.

I suppose that living in (relative) civilization might have that effect.

But I doubt it.

No, I meant "the family" that Rivington alluded to, but whose name we can't remember.

The whole town smelled because of a wood pulp factory.

Who were the dull housewives?

I am although not by choice:thumbdown: hopefully I am not dull or "karma hungry" as Alan put it:sneaky:

I contacted the Nurses of Ontario the other day if any news since I'm past my 20 weeks assessment period...oh no, no news...you know it can take much longer than that? GRRRR!:banghead:

Maybe I'll run a poll if anyone cares that much on how long the CNO will take to complete an average nurse assessment- nowt special about me. I'm going for 40-52 weeks...

Rant over- and breathe.

I fear he probably means me...I was a housewife when I came on here...not so much dull but bored...still frequently am!

Why would one be karma hungry...it can't be used like bitcoin can it?

I have a photographer friend from Wales who featured in a US magazine as one of the first way back when to offer services for bitcoin...he's loving it now :).

I bet Alan's doing an evil chuckle at worried women at his throwaway comment:lol:

There was a series of threads a year or so ago on (even for the Maple Leaf) some more than usually inane topics. A couple of people got annoyed at the "cluttering up" of the board with what they saw as pointless chatter, and the phrase "dull housewives" was used to describe the leading contributors to those threads. I don't actually know if any of them were housewives, and most were no duller than anyone else hereabouts.

ISTR FlirtyKnickers was one, Dollface another, Miss Clinique as well I think, and no doubt there were one or two more. Dollface left the forum in a huff (though not, as it happens, over anything that took place in the Canada section). Miss Clinique's account is closed, too. FK hasn't posted for months.

I'm still hurt and scarred today by being labelled a dull housewife.

By the way is there a plan for a Christmas Drink Up yet???

Reason I bring it up is I shall be back in Blighty from the 19th Dec to Jan 4th so would require something before or after.

Re: Where are all the Trolls?

Yes there should be a plan Jimbob .... I think I was required to make the plan by shnooks ;) ...

Last weekend of Nov or first weekend of Dec? Will do a thread!
