We've just spent every evening this week catching up on both series of Being Human. Can't believe we missed out on this. Best British telly I've watched in ages.

It's just started on the Space Channel in Canada last week if anyone hasn't seen it.

The mere fact that man city are considered in the elite is depressing enough... The nature of footy has changed beyond recognition I think.

Thinking more along the lines of billionairs for championships and the absence of much local talent anymore. People no longer seem to automatically support the team nearest where they live. Anyway, too much thread drift I suspect. Dont watch it, dont miss it.

Yes, that was good. Only seen the first series so far. 'The House' was just around the corner from where I lived before coming to Canada. :)

My wife and kids lap up anything to do with Vampires, Werewolves etc but this was very different.

Thanks - yep - we loved it.

I know as soon as you mention vampires and werewolves there will be a collective groan, but I thought it was very funny, very intelligent and just bloody good acting. Can't wait to get hold of Series 3, whenever that comes out.

One of my favourites, but I OD on it sometimes & end up with no sleep!

New Series of Spooks is just starting in the UK. Just sitting down to watch it after cooking all my dinners for this weeks set of late shifts.

Class:thumbup:! I love that film.

Me; Independence Day.
It's a mediocre film, but Will Smith is quite funny when he punches the alien and says, "Welcome to Earth!":p.

I like watching the UK version of the Antiques Roadshow. I love way the posh experts are so patronizing and sneeringly envious at same time. Brilliant theatre.

I'm becoming a curmudgeon. Apart from F1 races, I watch a few minutes of local news in the morning while drinking coffee. Otherwise I seldom turn the silly thing on. Big waste of time and money. Harrumph!
