Humble Pie at Cheltenham Town Hall February 1972. Ted Heath (S O S) was PM, the miners were on strike, Britain was on 3 day week, state of emergency declared, power was rationed, concert started at 10.30pm, remember drinking in The Restoration by candle light before the concert so by the time it started everyone was "happy". Best concert i ever went to, even if the sound at the CTH was absolutely terrible.

The only thing I remember going to see was Roland Rat at a TV studio, not sure you’d call it a concert. As an adult I’ve seen the Ramones, Libertines, Starsailor, Coral, Athlete, Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Travis, Arctic Monkeys, The Cribs, Galsvegas, the Doves as well as many others but you can see where this is going. I have a somewhat limited musical preference.

Not my ticket stub …..
The face value of a front row ticket for Whitesnake in 1987 at Wembley Arena, albeit at the very end of the row, was only £10.50 ….. but remember back then bands toured to sell records/ CDs, now they make recordings to sell concert tickets.

Not my first, or last, or best, but I have seen Barry Manilow (3 times...)

(a colleague was a massive fan, and she was a right laugh)

Oasis at Knebworth in 97. Also on the card were Cast, Kula Shaker, Chemical Brothers- T'was mental!

I was also fortunate to see the Foo Fighters play Wembley in 2008.

Lastly I saw U2 here in Toronto that was decent.

If you mean worst as in content, then any of the Asian shows.

A lot of the artists are great and very personable, but then others are downright grumpy, mean and just awkward to work with.
