I did some research based out of Etosha National Park (scrub for the most part, but prolific wildlife). The research involved flying a converted DC-3 (called a C-47), which I'd* leased and loaded with a bunch of atmospheric composition measurement equipment and bits of fancy electronics.
The flights were at low altitude and some parts of the country were a bit nice. Some less so.
From the air, the Caprivi strip was a highlight.
But I preferred Botswana.
*Not (astonishingly) at my personal expense.

Yeah the German language is now restricted mainly to German tourists and residents- it was run by South Africa on behalf of the UK from 1914 on.
Sossusvlei is amazingly beautiful but most of the country is pretty barren. Windhoek is small but charming. And Windhoek beer is one of those great brews you appreciate the next morning.
I lived in Botswana for a while so maybe that why Namibia has the charm for me- when you're on hols, no day-day hassles and annoyances.

What were you doing there? (Mining?)

I got Kuwait. I haven't had a drink in 2014 as far I can recall, I still have an unopened bottle of vodka I bought last Christmas and never got around to drinking any.
If the stuff tasted better, didn't cost a small fortune to buy, and didn't cause so much damage to organs, maybe I'd drink more.

It did the BBC test the other day as it was a fairly dry week and I got Boliva, I was given a 12 year old malt today so I am assuming that I may increase my tally this week.

Nambia. Although it seems a little fúcked. If I drink one more I'm form Belarus. But it takes about 4 more spirits to get to the same stage, while hitting nothing in between

I used to be from India. Then I abused my location one too many times and found that I had to relocate to Timor Leste!!! Definitely feeling healthier! lol

Building engineering. In was there for 2 1/2 years with a British company, really liked it though it is on the quiet side.
