What food does everyone miss?

Re: What food does everyone miss?
I'd assumed dbd33 was alluding to his inevitable oneness with Gaia, planetary life form which is all things. I'd further assumed that this afternoon he was feeling particularly close to those other aspects of Gaia, cradles and small black rain clouds, and was expressing his need to sprinkle his life-giving inner goodness on the grateful soil beneath.
If so, he's elsewhere than Richmond Hill, where it's a-raining not, but he may pop by this evening.

Little India - just above the pier? I agree the food is rather bland. Surprisingly, the owner used to be a minor star on Japanese TV before he came to Canada so if you want to natter away in Japanese whilst eating underwhelming Indian food and enjoying a view it is perfect.
We had a decent meal in an Indian restaurant on the east side of 152nd just north of the King George Hwy.
However, head up Scott Road for some of the best. Baba Sweets have a lunchtime curry, rice and nan for less than $10. Decor is sh*t but proper tasty.

I havebeen to some great places in surrey which some of the east indian lads took me too...no idea where though...very odd experience, pulling into some industrial area and going through side doors and the like....tasty all the same though. Surrey has been a bit of a pleasant surprise, food wise.
going to try that jimmy flynns o the front (next to little india) this friday...i did pop in one lunch time and chatted with the owner who is a scouser....seems to be a bit of a brit following in there....settling into the area, been a good move overall, and the commute is now a blissful 20 mins, less for mrs boy d.
looking forward to the summer now!
