What do you miss most?

Close, Victoria. Yeah thunder and lightening is a rarity here. I've seen/heard it maybe five times in the 30 plus years living here... so when it does happen, it's completely freaky.

The place is Ishina on Bexley Place, Bells Corners...it is off Richmond Road (behind Drugs Mart/Metro).
www.ishina.ca
Open 11:30 - 2 pm, Mon - Fri.
They have another place on Carling Road but that is take out only whereas Bells Corners is a sit-down buffet.

The burgers at Vera's in the Butchery are good nearby.

I miss my grandchildren. I miss my two weeks a year sailing round the Greek islands. I miss my windsurfing holidays in the sinai. I miss being close to Europe. I miss British pubs. I miss having a laugh with my mates. I miss decent sausage. I miss sitting on the deck at this place while my husband windsurf's http://www.minnisbaywindsurfingclub.org.uk/
I miss lots of things. Cant wait for my time in Canada to end so I can go back to Europe.

I know the place...I haven't been but I know some people who go there...it is popular with General Dynamics staff. If I were them, I'd remove the testimonial from Larry O'Brien...that won't help their cause.

I have not had a buurger at Vera's but have brought meat from the Butchery which was very good.

I miss my old "local" (the Cap and Stocking in Kegworth), Tesco's delivery service and bizarrely the sound of churchbells on an evening when the bellringers had their practice.

Finally Touche Eclait.... .can't find it anywhere and I permanently look like I've not slept in weeks

I recently went back to the UK and whilst there I got request from my family for ... Walkers cheese and onion crisps, Galaxy Chocolate bars, McCoys Flame grilled Stake crisps, Lucazade, Lion bars, etc.
As for me, whilst there I was asked the same question by my sister. I told her that I missed unlimited internet at home and on my mobile, cheap mobile phones that do not have 3 year contracts tied to them and being able to have my cheap designer glasses made whilst I wait.
After seeing her hurt face, I realised that I had forgotten to mention something very important. The thing I miss the most is having family around. But after being around them for a week, I think I should be fine for another couple of years now.
