We recently got a wedding invite that directed us towards a website that the happy couple had designed. On there it said they had everything that they needed etc etc and please press here to donate towards our wedding, (directed you towards his paypal account)! I sent a nice donation to cancer research on there behalf.

We were living in England but had our wedding in South Africa where most of our family and friends are. Our honeymoon was already a gift from the in-laws, so we had a wedding list. We chose stuff that would be easy to ship with the rest of our furniture, like luxury towels, table linen, a retro kitchen scale and so on. Ten years on we're still using everything we got as wedding gifts, and every time I use one of the gifts I think of the people who gave it to us!

We've been married 28 years and the dinner set is getting boring! I can't break the damn stuff!

Barely recall much of the honeymoon though ... hubby had shingles and I seem to remember I was suffering some other ailment .......
