Iraq uncovers ISIS plot to bomb subways in U.S. and Paris | CTV News

According to Iraq ISIS members in custody there, have said ISIS apparently has plans to bomb subways in the US and France, but the US and France have not confirmed any the intel.

Apparently those arrested who provided the information are US and French nationals in Iraq who went to join ISIS.

I am really starting to re-think my trip to California in November, I know I shouldn't let it ruin plans for me, but flying when these sorts of threats are coming out, well makes me nervous.

"Today, while I'm here I'm receiving accurate reports from Baghdad that there were arrests of a few elements and there were networks from inside Iraq to have attacks ... on metros of Paris and U.S.," al-Abadi said, speaking in English. "They are not Iraqis. Some of them are French, some of them are Americans. But they are in Iraq."

Being able to commit acts in a jurisdiction that permits one's presence and being able to do so in another jurisdiction that is actively hunting you are two very different situations.

The French/Algerian relationship, always dodgy at the best of times, is going to be dreadful. I wouldn't like to be an Arab in France at the moment. The problem is I wouldn't fancy being French in a great array of countries at present either.

These deaths have all been atrocities, but this poor French chap was just a poor bloody tourist, it seems so very disgusting.

Interesting. A similar age kid from Brighton is in the UK press right now, having been killed in an air strike. It's that age isn't it, very impressionable.

An "expert" on the radio said these kids get little battle training and thrown in at the deep end in the hope they get killed. Then they post pics of the Brit/Canadian ect who joined and gave their life.
