You just wiped 40 years away - lovely memories of those weekend jaunts with a good seafood lunch, and red hot fries with mayo...happy, happy days

Thanks for the memory!! We used to go on day trips via Hovercraft from Folkestone, funny to think of us struggling with an overladen bags of stuff; including Cornichons and Bonne Mamon Jam, of all things and we always ended up with way more than we could reasonably carry.

Oh yes, but what a fun struggle it was!

I am finding that I am having a lot more ‘memories’ since this mess happened too, and some really bizarre dreams...and a few nightmares. It’s really interesting how the brain works. I am not alone apparently and they are starting studies to find out why it’s happening.

I certainly feel with my memories that I’m generally just too jammed full of busy that I just don’t have time for inner reflection and now my brain is taking the time it needs to reset...this, I think, is a good thing.

Please would someone help, I watched a wonderful video on You Tube yesterday called ‘Tell me the story about the virus’ by an artist and poet called Probably Tomfoolery. Would somebody be able to pop a link on here. It was the most beautiful, gentle and positive explanation of this thing, with a hopeful outcome, and well worth the watch.

Meanwhile I am setting myself the task of being able to post links !

Thank you, I enjoyed that.

I'm having a good pandemic. No commuting costs, more hours in bed, haven't ironed anything for weeks, I'm rather dreading the end of the lock down.

Not having work clothes to iron and some spare cash in the bank - seems like all my dreams came true! I've certainly saves quite a bit of money from not going out.

Thank you so much Caretaker and Bristol for posting the link. Greatly appreciated.

My son told me today that he is rather enjoying this period and he isn’t missing going out etc. Now I don’t know whether to be worried about him or relieved  Or

If you get sick the system isn't cluttered with routine stuff. It's a bit like queue jumping

Luxury goods, like horse massaging machines, are suddenly half price. That's great if you have a horse and think the horse would enjoy some mechanical palpitations.
