Page one crap
Pages two thru 5 Innuendo crap and Bullshit
Page 6 featured some very biting social commentary but was mainly crappy sexual innuendo and mutual cyber masturbation
Page 7 actually I feel asleep for that one
Page 8 looked like it could go somewhere but sadly I was a major contributor/editor/ghost writer so it was total sh!te

For the last week or so, we havent had to do much...that's a GOOD thing by the way
If yous all want to ramble on and you are doing it in the right forum and no one takes offence enough to complain then that works for me.There probably are unmoderated fora out there....usenet newsgroups spring to mind. If you want to post there then knock yourself out. I gave that up as a waste of time years ago
Too many trolls and idiots for my taste.

Good Lord, its not our job to monitor whether the posts serve any purpose, we are quite happy to be superfluous, just as long as no one is reporting posts for abuse or broken rules.

Yes, hence my comment. At least the trolls and idiots here are somewhat reigned in. On usenet they make it pretty much a waste of time. Are there ANY web based forums similar to this one with no moderation, seeing as we seem to be discussing that?
Even facebook has administators and control over deleting content etc should the page owner desire to.

There are 'spam' and 'abuse' buttons on MSE, the administrators delete threads/posts as and when it is reported to them. I am not against administrators I just think that having moderators doing gestapo-like patrols of the boards dumbs everything down.

LOL, you SERIOUSLY overestimate the amount of time we are prepared to put into this!
If the forum has dumbed down any thats likely a reflection on the people posting more than the moderation I would have thought. I cant say I've noticed a dumbing down. I have noticed a reduction in complaints and personal attacks, and perhaps an increase in new posters questions getting useful answers rather than smartarse comments.
If an unmoderated forum suits you better, then post in an unmoderated forum, this one however is moderated.

Yes, and it's one of the most successful of all time in my opinion.
