When I was in hospital having my first son, there was a baby born on the same day who still was not named when we left. His family name was Hunt, and his parents just could not decide on a name!
Our local dentist lived in a house called "Little Acre"
I had a patient once with the surname Constable..... he was a policeman! and he dared us to comment!

I know i cant believe hubbys friends called there kids harry and hilary hunt
When i was pregnant and we was having a discussion on names i put myself right in it by saying that any P names were out (last name begins with p) as it would sound stupid.
to which his sister found a little odd as she has a P name as well as the P surname
But in the end i gave her my surname as i didnt want to take his surname anyway.

Also, I worked in an opticians for a number of years and had to refer patients to the local hospital, where the opthalmologist was called Dr De'ath (pronounced dee ath).
I have had a really good chuckle at these replies.
