The only difference will be that your PC is connected to your TV via S-video,DVi or best of all HDMI cables then watching UK TV via the internet and all the main channels from there players. As I said earlier these you will have to get through proxies or paying and getting a VPN (Virtual Private Network) for about $15 mth. The other option as everyone keeps saying is through sites like UK Nova the big downside of that is that it eats up your bandwidth so you have to very choosey but the upside is the quality is excellent.

Sorry can't find a region hack for that model, but Daenyx are cheap and quite often the really cheap makes are reagion free, have you tried a UK DVD in it?

Not sure if its DIVX compatible either
