UK Sim card
AM having to head back to the UK for a couple of weeks at the end of July.
Looking for a data/call sim for my Pixel 2. (mostly data I suspect a couple of gig should do it)
realized that I don't really know who the players in the market are now, so comparisons of deals are tricky!
Any helpful info gratefully received

WH Smith at the airport has various SIM cards, loaded with minutes and data. I bought one when we landed on our last visit.

At LHR T2 there are sim card vending machines outside the terminal (as you walk to the carpark/shuttle/underground).

Both myself and my daughter are on SIM only deals with ID mobile who are good and they're a rolling one month contract. Their best deal at the mo is £10 a month for 10GB, unlimited texts and I think 400 mins of calls? They seem to be better value than GiffGaff IMO.

I ordered 2 giffgaff SIMS online a day before I left to fly to UK beginning of this month. They arrived the day I arrived. Got 4GB of data for £12.
Unfortunately I live in the countryside so the 4G want fantastic but it did the job.

Re: UK Sim card
didn't think of Tesco, will look at that as an option. Thanks
My plan is to get my brother to pick one up for me, he's meeting me at the airport, so can just hand it over then.

Re: UK Sim card
I agree, our free GiffGaff sim card worked very well on the O2 network during our recent trip to the UK, everywhere from London to the Isle of Skye. A 10 pound payment for 3gigs data and unlimited calling and texting (within Europe) lasted well.

Thanks for all the options.
