A promise Trudeau broke, never believe anything a politician says during an election, and too bad people don't look at actual track records more rather than the BS spewed during campaigns. Look at the map BC and Alberta basically have no federal representation in federal politics since both tend to lean away from Liberals, and really most of the interior of BC is more aligned with Alberta than rest of BC politically.

I don't expect much change in ridings in BC, likely to stay pretty much the same, a couple ridings in Vancouver might change, Liberals might be able to take back the riding of the MP who is independent but formerly known as Liberal.

Having the Trans Canada highway double lanes all the way yeah right. Ever driven from Falcon Lake Manitoba to Sault St Marie?
If I ever have to drive from BC to anywhere past Manitoba, I am so dropping down into the US to do it, driving across Canada has no appeal and truckers seem to do it often, so if truckers, google all recommend it, seems to be the best option to get from one end of Canada to the other.

Highway 1 even through heavily populated Lower Mainland sucks, aure the small stretch between 200th in Lagley and across the new bridge into Coquitlam is good, but east of 200th to Hope and West of Ikea sucks butt still, can't expect highway improvements to work and then leave an outdated, old bridge that cannot handle 2021 population volume, Iron Workers bridge needs to go and be replaced with a bridge that can actually handle the volume of the population today, its grown and become a bit more dense since the bridge opened in 1960.

I certainly could support more affordable phone and internet service, no reason Canadian telecoms need to be so far above global average of peer countries.

Of course NDP will never win federally and form government.

“When I think about the biggest, most important economic policy this government, if re-elected, would move forward, you'll forgive me if I don't think about monetary policy. You’ll understand that I think about families,” he said. Justin Trudeau

Does he not realize that monetary policy affects families, and if he isn't thinking about monetary policy, oh I hate to see how much worse things will get here.

On the same day he said that, stats Canada reported inflation jumped 3.7% year-over-year in July, biggest climb in a decade.

Details, details.....Trudeau is a master of these kind of statements. Why deal with monetary policy today when you can defer it to another day.

Exactly. At least all parties are together on this; we're incurring mega-debt because of the pandemic and there is no way around that. Where Trudeau side-steps the issue is by saying families are his priority then not locking in a commitment to a national child-care policy. It's the difference between a platform and rhetoric, and the fact they all do it doesn't help. Singh says he'll hand over military sexual assault cases to civilian courts, but without a firm commitment (read timeline), which Trudeau should be doing but isn't. There will no doubt be some good promises and some good lies coming out of all the leaders over the next few weeks.

Have they released a platform yet the Liberals? He was a day or 2 ago yapping about the other parties platforms, but his own party had yet to even release one at the time. I haven't checked today yet to see.

Clip of Canadian prime minister singing in London hotel two days before funeral has sparked criticism

Jesus, the conservatives must really be in trouble if this is the best they can do.

The dancing congresswoman demolished her critics by dancing on the steps of the Capitol. Perhaps Trudeau should sing outside Parliament.

Have you considered that the criticism may have been that he is murdering the song?

If anything, the criticism should be in singing that bloody song.

It should have been put down long ago or strangled at birth.
