A family member (Canadian citizen and double vaccinated as of July) needs to travel from Canada to the UK (YYZ to LHR) on short notice. I am just about to research what they need to do exactly to comply with covid-related restrictions but if someone happens to have a quick checklist based on recent experience that would be extremely helpful. Depends which country they're heading to. Are they staying in England, or travelling on to Scotland/Wales/NI?

It's all on the government website so easy for them to look up the requirements, but it will depend on where they're going.

Just to add, I've found Air Canada's covid travel tool pretty up-to-date and comprehensive when it came to trip planning to the UK a couple of months ago. Worth checking out, even if you weren't flying with them.
