I'm in the good books at home at the mo (and so I bloody should be - spent the weekend laying about 1800 sq ft of turf in the formerly-overgrown backyard) so have a good chance of securing a late pass for a Friday evening.

I still snicker at the thought that in Canadian terms what I did over the weekend was "sod the yard" - pretty much my view of it by beer-o'clock yesterday evening

If it is a Friday then I shall not be joining you. Sailing season has started and friday night is the "social sail". For this read short sail , long drinking session!!!

I need the alcohol as, after a brief foray out on 20 knot wind conditions , my legs arms and bum (don't ask!) are bloody sore at the moment

Don't know. Friday nights are my role-playing nights so it's unlikely I can make it. That or I could end up in New York again. I'll make it if I'm free, but as others have said Friday isn't always the best night. We'll see.

I guess this is always the problem you have getting a group of people together, some can do one date and others can't.
I can be flexible arrive on 29th May and depart on 9th June. Will be great to meet who ever can make it.
