Making headlines for all the right reasons, for a change.
Management changes, and Big name signings like Defoe, Dero and Bradley and a friendly lined up for summer v Spurs.
2014 is the year for TFC "it's Guna be good" >takes tongue out of cheek<
Really !!!

Looking forward to the friendly and may even go to a few TFC game's this season.
I'm guessing with these expensive purchases that the price of beer at BMO field won't be reduced.

Gilberto was signed too last month. We will see how good Ryan Nelson thinks he is at management when all these egos arrive.
A playoff place could be a real possibility this year.

Still probably a step up on what Toronto had.
I don't know enough about the strength and depth of MLS squads but I would think that Toronto FC fans can be more optimistic.

Optimistic? yeh every one is looking fwd to this season for the right reasons this time.
Not being a glory hunter I am stuck supporting the place wher I live, Blackpool and now Toronto. It would be nice to actually be part of a successful club for a change.

... when I started supporting them in the 70s they went from D2 through D3 to D4 in four seasons, then back up again not quite as quickly. After a steady run in tier 2 (old D2 then D1 when the Prem started) they spent a few seasons in the top flight, but it's been - how to put it politely - a bit chaotic since then: in and out of administration twice and relegated three times since winning the FA Cup in 2008. Currently languishing only a couple of places clear of the relegation zone of League Two.

Be thankful you're not a Pompey supporter. Their journey up and down the divisions makes the emotional rollercoaster of immigration look like a calm day on a millpond
