The Queens Head was suggested. It's not walking distance, since nothing is walking distance (unless you want to party it up at the Swiss Chalet across the street), but it's a short cab ride.

Alternatively, is there anything close to the Bronte station? I don't know that area well.

The other option is to go to one of the restaurants around Clarkson, there are more options there - Indian, Italian, and a Turtle Jacks that are a short walk away. That might be a bit easier and still the same vicinity.

Can you even begin to imagine the possibilities for where James may end up if he has to negotiate a cab and a train ride home? At least from the Yard he is on auto pilot for the way home.

Perhaps Clarkson is the better bet then, at least removes the cab option, haha.

The Clarkson Pump is a short walk from the station, so that certainly would work fine by me.

Google says 15 minute walk: https://goo.gl/maps/AtYdUaVajcz

Parenting schedule permitting I'm down for a gig in the (un)wild west, I can get the GO train straight through.

I've been to the Brogue Inn in Port Credit, which was OK, but very early evening around 2 years back. Its also walking distance to the GO if that's the deciding metric.
