Garlicky lamb chops, redcurrant jelly, pommes dauphinoise, braised red cabbage.
Kedgeree
Fish and chips and mushy peas
Medium rare sirloin steak, frites, and that green sauce. Cafe de Paris? Green beans
An Indian meal of some sort, maybe a biriani

Maybe, but the man I saw eat it was/is a skinny guy from Wisconsin.

16 oz char broiled NY steak with baked potato topped with loads of sour cream. Side Caesar salad + garlic bread with cheese (Black forest steak house, Scarborough)

Knackwurst with sauerkraut & home fried potato (at my wife German friends house)

Curried chicken with basmati rice (home made)

Probably somewhere in Primrose Hill.

Although I have a confession, on a sunny day a good charcuterie board , coupled with a big box of red wine, makes a splendid distraction when one is out fishing.

I had a friend who was chef at the legislature in wintertime, and during the summer was the chef at Wascana Golf and Country Club. He had to cook huge steaks like that for the football players when they had charity events at the Wascana, and he hated it. He wasn't very big, but I don't know if that was the reason for his belief that nobody should eat more than 4oz of meat a day (seafood was another matter entirely). Despite this flaw he was a great chef, and very well known. He was originally from Wallasey.

Another sleepless night... what with charcuterie and a good ripe anything cheese, of course not pasteurized...(so not probably Canada) this could be a long and thought filled night...

That sounds about right. Have seen a similar figure on some healthy eating sites.
