Default Top five dinners of all time

We've had the breakfast, lunch and dinner threads but on this chilly February afternoon, feeling hungry and bored, I couldn't help but let my mind wander back to all the amazing dinners I've had in the past. So it got me thinking about my favourites of all time.

Mine are:

Roast beef with roast potatoes, mash, peas, Yorkies and lots of gravy
Shepherd's pie
Chicken tikka masala
Sausages, chips and peas
Battered cod and chips

(A shout out to spaghetti Bolognese, but its something you have on holiday)

What are yours?

Venison- rare with a nice Cumberland
Piles of seafood (cooked, not sushi which I hate) topped off with Anegadan Lobster

I'd go with Roast Beef, Cod/Chips and Tikka Masala. if you're in Canada the chips are crap so you must substitute in sweet potato fries and reap 5 times the health benefits.

I'd add Lasagne and Ham & Pineapple Pizza though.

But then I've always been a bit more cultured than you.

Not enough pastry in your choices....

Steak pie.
King prawn curry
Salmon and teriyaki noodles
Proper charcoal bbq, to include sausages....and salad
Beef Wellington.

2 from 5 with pastry is not bad.

That wouldn't be too hard but it seems that no one is as posh a Stinky and his aspirational dinners.

Yup. Stinky's is fine dining. If I could remember what my meals were called in posh restaurants I would have listed them.

Given the Pistol's penchant for egg and chips, I'll allow it.

I must admit a fine cornish pasty would hit my top 10!
