Latest Chosen One blast : Mourinho said: 'If he is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I didn't fail many times. Eight years without silverware, that's failure.'
Under Wenger, Arsenal have not won a trophy since the 2005 FA Cup. 'He's a specialist in failure,' continued Mourinho. 'If I do that in Chelsea, eight years, I leave and don't come back.' Bit out of order, but he does come up with some doozies. |

don't need to..let me think weren't they tanked 6-0 & 5-1 by Man City and 5-0 by Liverpool?
That's 3 games what about the other 35 in a season??? The record against the Top 4 is an interesting concept but it only accounts for a small percentage of fixtures. |

I do enjoy Mourinho. Brings something to the press conferences. I think only Ian Holloway is as entertaining.

How about losing 3-0 at home to the happy hammers there is another one of the top of my head.
But despite these results Spurs still only 3 points of 4th spot. The next 6 games are toughies but the final 6 all look winnable. If Spurs pick up 10 points from the next 6 games and 15 from the final 6 they'll hit 72 points. I'm a little biased but if Adebayor stays fit I think that is what Tottenham will pick up. It affords Tottenham 3 more defeats between now and the end of the season. Maybe that won't be enough but in previous seasons it has often been good enough for 4th. |

None the less with twice the wage bill and revenue should your ambition not be a little higher than to try and scrape a finish one or two points above Tottenham? I was thinking Arsenal for 3rd but on recent performances I'm wondering if there will be an implosion during the final third of the season. The gap with Spurs was 11 points a week ago and now just 5 with a looming visit to White Hart Lane. Chadli is starting to look a better player than Ozil.

I know it's often said there are no easy matches in international football but have a look at this draw..........

A stoppage time winner against Villa took us to 40 points and virtual certainty of staying up. Can't say I'm impressed though. :(

The first week in April is the plan. Booking the flights this week.
The top 6 will all still be top 6 at the end of the season with a few changes in actual positions. It's going to be the best PL run-in for years. It's too tight to afford any slip-up's. Looking forward to next season already. |

10 points from the next 6 is now 10 points from the next 5. That CL spot looks a little too far now.
