e.g. Spain, Germany, Holland, Italy or Portugal (together with England, the grauniad's possibly mad suggestion for the First Division)
I know England didn't do much to be happy about but the Euros were only last year. They won their group, only knocked out on penalties by finalists Italy, finished 5th. Whereas Holland lost all their games and came bottom of their group. |

Yes. So much for Dave's youf policy.
As long as Arsenal's players came out of the international break without injury problems, I'm happy. |

I still believe that England have very little chance of winning the World Cup, so should blood the youngsters in a competition no-one would expect them to do well in.

I severely doubt ANY of the home national teams will ever make it to a World Cup Semi-Final, let alone win it, either as they are or as a UK team. Ever. But many of the current crop aren't even first choice for their clubs. I'm not speaking as an England fan, as I'm not, I'm speaking as someone who believes we need to build for the future.

Looks like Ozil had to leave after 10 mins with knee injury.
We're waiting to see what the Arsenal physio says when he arrives back in London this morning. |

So who is it then............
There is one member of the squad who plays his club football in Scotland. But does it have to be a player? Perhaps the room was bugged. |
